About Me
Meta de Boer
I originally trained as journalist. I guess that asking difficult but important questions is part of my DNA, and after a career in Business Development at a renowned business school I found myself longing to continue working in close dialogue with people, asking important questions, helping them to gain a better understanding of themselves, of others and of their context.
For over 15 years, I worked in different commercial roles at IMD Business School (Switzerland) where I, in my last role as Associate Director, was commercially responsible for designing learning solutions with large corporations in the BENELUX.
Certifications
I am certified Executive Coach (system psycho-dynamic approach) at Senior Practitioner level and certified Group Facilitator, both from Tavistock Consulting (UK).
I hold a BA in Journalism (School voor Journalistiek, Utrecht, The Netherlands) and an MA in Organisational Consulting with a System Psycho-dynamic approach from the Tavistock and Portman Foundation Trust/University of Essex (UK).
At this moment, I am in the process of obtaining a certification in Psychotherapy and Counseling at the Tavistock and Portman Foundation Trust. I am member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), NEO-PI and Archetypes at Work certified.
Beside my mother tongue Dutch, I coach in English, German (and Swiss-German) and French. I live in Lausanne with my two teenage boys.
